The whole team was invited to capture Leeds city college awards in June. The event is presented by Capital FM’s Adam and JoJo, is an evening of entertainment, motivational speeches, delicious food and above all, a celebration of the incredible achievements of Leeds City College and Keighley College students. Over 30 exceptional students received an award and were recognised for their hard work, determination, and for some, overcoming extreme adversity. The set up for this evening consisted of me as the main photographer capturing the event at it unfolded, whilst Leah photographed each winner and other attendees in our portable studio set up which allowed Eli, our studio assistant, to print the images there and then as a gift from the college to each student. We all had a great night at the awards ceremony and were inspired by some of the stories we heard.
