Event Photography for Barnsley Markets opening
Over the years I’ve photographed a lot for Barnsley Council (BMBC). It’s always varied and interesting and I really like working with the team over there.
On this occasion I was booked to cover the opening of the new markets in Barnsley.
As always the events team put on a brilliant variety of entertainment to celebrate the launch and the day was a lot of fun with plenty of Barnsley residents coming to see the new space and buy their produce.
The new markets are a great space and the traders were really friendly and welcoming.
Photographing events is often tricky as there’s often a lot going on. I made sure I have a timetable of events from the team to be certain I could photograph what they needed and liaised with key staff and stake holders to get the photos they wanted too.
The day was loads of fun and I think the shots show that too.
