Mark Asquith got in touch with Timm in need of some new portraits and images for his website. He wanted a range of shots to show his personality and all aspects of what he does. “Having left his last “proper” job at age 23 because frankly, he found it boring (pensions, yo), Mark embarked upon a varied path to becoming a multiple business owner and continues to maintain an inquisitive nature and keen focus on helping others to succeed. As CEO of Rebel Base Media, Mark has been helping podcasters to build their audio influence since 2014 and continues to love the podcasting industry and the opportunity that it brings to each and every one of us.
“As an experienced keynote speaker, Mark has spoken on stages across the world, from Podcast Movement to Podfest; Youpreneur Summit to TEDx and has even delivered educational podcast talks at Harvard University.” – Mark Asquith’ website.
We started the day at Marks office in Sheffield city centre, in his podcasting booth. This was a really cool space, with the use of our studio lighting we were able to create a coloured gel effect within the podcasting booth which we used to light Mark. The pools of blue and red light hit his face perfectly before fading into the dark coloured soundproofing on the walls. After we go this main shot, we decided to move to Marks desk. This is where Mark does most of his work, talking to clients via skype and aiding them with podcast coaching. We then thought it would be fitting to get some shots in other places around Marks office before heading out into the town centre to get some actions shots of Mark as he filmed for his YouTube channel. We were really happy with all of these shots, they have turned out great and look even better on Marks website! However, we didn’t stop there! Why not finish the day with some Platon inspired portraits in our studio? I have to admit, these are my favourite images from this shoot. I have always admired Platon’s work so to put my own twist on his style was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to create more like it. Get in touch with us if you’re needing some portraits for your website!
Cheers, Timm.
