I was invited by Barnsley Council to document the Queensbury Town Centre Redevelopment Launch. Barnsley Council and Queensberry made a major funding and occupier announcement about The Glass Works, the £120 million retail-led scheme which will transform the heart of one of Yorkshire’s best loved towns. The new centre will offer a range of new shops, restaurants, multiplex cinema and bowling, alongside a brand new home for Barnsley’s historic markets, a cutting-edge central library and quality public realm. It was great to see what will become of the town centre!
