Jewellery Photography for Harrogate’s A Fattorini

For the second year running I’ve made the trip up to Harrogate to photograph Jewellery for the winter brochure for A Fattorini.

Working with Craig from Genius Division we develop the concept of the brochure for them and present them with the idea. From there we plan the shoot and then head over to their shop to shoot the items there. I have to take a full studios worth of lighting, set, reflectors, backgrounds etc to ensure I have what I need to create the look we have planned.

Working this way is not easy but it’s what is needed for the job and so we just get on with it.

I’m quite proud of the finished brochure. There’s something lovely about seeing the shots in print. Really makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Below are some shots of the brochure and the finished PDF of the brochure (The PDF it’s self scrolls as well as the page). You can also see it on their website here

I like shooting jewellery as it brings about so many challenges as most items are very reflective and shiny and making sure the products are presented at their best can be a challenge too.

Anyway have a look at the images and please drop me a line if you would like to discuss jewellery photography or any other commercial photography.

Cheers

Timm.
